This presentation will examine the use of CLT in residential typologies - with a focus on projects that utilize space and geometry in a unique way.  The presentation will focus on the advantages and disadvantages of using CLT and the opportunities where CLT was specified in various case studies. 

By the end of the course, you will be able to do the following:

• Explore the ways that CLT can be used to utilize space and geometry in a unique way.
• Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of using CLT in a residential space. 
• Explore various case studies where CLT was specified and how the architect ensured the space was safe for future occupants.  
• Identify opportunities where architects can use CLT to create projects that are collaborative, innovative, and responsibly sourced mass timber.
